Usman has spent a decade advising Investment Banking clients on M&A, capital markets and restructuring transactions in New York, Toronto and Dubai. During this time, he has worked at Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers and Citigroup and focused on advising multinational corporations in the Natural Resources, Utilities and Chemical sectors.
Usman obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn), with concentrations in Finance, Management and Marketing. While at Penn, he also contributed to Dubai & Co., a McGraw-Hill Publication, as lead researcher and partial author of the chapter on GCC market entry strategies.
In his free time, Usman enjoys mentoring rising professionals in the financial services industry and has been actively involved in ADP, a U.S. based non-profit organization that allocates capital to high-return, NGO-driven projects across a range of sectors including economic empowerment, environment, healthcare, education and energy in Pakistan.
