Nida currently works as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services. In this role, she has led the creation and implementation of ground-breaking policy initiatives, such as the development of province-wide Student Achievement Protocols to support improved educational achievement for struggling youth, and the public reporting of children’s aid society performance indicators, a milestone in transparency for the child welfare sector.
Nida holds an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration from Ryerson University.
Nida is passionate about community engagement and spends her time volunteering for a number of local charitable organizations. She is also a commensurate foodie and enjoys exploring Toronto’s diverse food scene.
