Nafisah Chowdhury is a Partner in Miller Thomson’s litigation group, where she provides clients with strategic advice on all manners of legal disputes, encompassing areas as diverse as contractual disputes, employment law, asset recovery in commercial fraud cases, and judicial review of administrative decisions. She appears regularly before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and assists with cases before various levels of court, including Federal Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal. She also appears before various administrative tribunals. Nafisah obtained her J.D. from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, in 2007 and was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2008.
In her spare time, Nafisah is actively engaged in community outreach, including in initiatives aimed at newcomer settlement, as well as in the protection of civil liberties. She is the Co-Chair of Miller Thomson’s United Way Committee.
