Dr. Muhammad Munshi is a Radiologist at Trillium Health Partners (THP) in Mississauga and a Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto.
He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toronto, completed his Radiology Residency at the University of Manitoba and a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging at the University of California – San Diego. He has specific interests and expertise in Sports Medicine Imaging, also currently working at the Canadian Centre for Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.
He has a passion for medical education, serving as the Medical Education Lead for Diagnostic Imaging at THP since 2011, throughout the inaugural years of the Mississauga Academy of Medicine at the University of Toronto – Mississauga.
Beyond medicine, he is passionate about issues of social justice and is active in many community and political initiatives. He currently is Chair of the Young Professionals Council of the International Development and Relief Foundation and is an executive member of his local political federal riding association.
